haven't seen watchmen yet, but i did read a "critic" from my favorite german videogaming site (why they did a movie i'm not sure)... but this sounds good: "it jumps from the comic to the movie without being steamrolled by hollywood. the content is there.. mostly thanks to the enormous length of the movie: 160 minutes."

Oi. that *is* long. But.. awesome. it won't have stuff cut from it, likely :D or not too much!

Have you actually /read/ the comic?

Because I am pretty hard pressed to see how they could cram the whole thing, even after ditching the black freighter and most of the minor characters, into that time. Long comic is long.

Indeed I have! but still, almost three hours? considering how live action is usually faster than comic book panels, they probably *could* cram almost everything in there. If not, i do have to wonder what was left out.

Yea, the comic pacing is a bit odd. I'm just glad that they decided to make it R and not cut things to make it PG-13.
